Chief Financial Officer / Director

Chris Pratt is Ameristar’s Chief Financial Officer with oversight of the company’s corporate controllership, strategic growth initiatives, treasury, tax, human resources, financial reporting, strategic planning and analysis, and corporate development functions.

Joining Ameristar in 1998, Chris served as the Operations Manager with a focus on driving continuous improvement, agility, and efficiency in the company’s growing operations, as well as optimizing technological enablement. This path elevated him to be named the Corporate Controller in 2002 with the responsibilities of planning, directing and coordinating all accounting functions as well as assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvements and implementing new processes. This led to his appointment to CFO in 2006 where he has served since.

Prior to joining Ameristar, Chris began his career with TGIF Friday’s where for 10 years he worked in a number of diverse roles from fiscal planning, human resources and supply chain management. Chris holds a Masters of Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
