Medical

All full-time, permanent employees that have completed their probationary period are eligible for FULL coverage medical benefits from one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive providers. This PPO coverage includes affordable “co-pays”, an extensive, self-selected/directed network of physicians as well as access to many of the nation’s most prominent hospitals. Employees have a nominal contribution retained from their bi-weekly checks for “Employee Only” coverage, with discounted coverage available for eligible family members.

Pharmacy Card

Our overall medical package allows you to purchase prescription drugs and other necessities, at discounted rates, using one of the nation’s largest and most comprehensive providers.

401(K) Retirement savings plan

A Tax-Deferred 401(k) savings plan is available to employees who have completed their probationary period. The company offers a generous funds match program with a laddered vesting schedule. This plan includes numerous investment options and convenient access.

Life Insurance

Basic Term Life Insurance is provided for all full-time, permanent employees at no cost to the employee. This coverage is periodically recalculated to adjust the coverage amount to the rising costs associated with this type of benefit, giving the employee and their family peace of mind.

Long Term Disability

Long Term Disability benefits are provided for all full-time, permanent employees at no cost to the employee.

Dental

Dental Insurance is available for all full-time, permanent employees on a voluntary basis.

Vision

Vision Insurance is available for all full-time, permanent employees on a voluntary basis.

Short Term Disability

Short Term Disability Insurance is available for all full-time, permanent employees on a voluntary basis.

Paid Holidays

Seven fully paid holiday breaks are enjoyed and extended to all full-time, permanent employees.

Vacation Time

Ameristar offers paid vacation time, available to all full-time, permanent employees. The amount of paid vacation increases, incrementally, as the employee continues employment with Ameristar.

Education Reimbursement

Ameristar encourages success in all of its employees. Education is an important step for success and all full-time, permanent employees are eligible for reimbursement for certain successfully completed college courses. This benefit is also available for “work related” education, seminars and special training.
